Glasgow found the right formula Tuesday night at Warren East in a 4-2 win over the Raiders. The game featured the top two teams in the 15th District, and the Scotties’ locked up the top seed for the district tournament that starts Saturday at Warren East.

Glasgow built a 2-0 lead in the first half, before the Raiders rallied to tie the game 2-2 at the break. Daniel Rodriguez gave the Scotties the lead for good less than two minutes into the second half on a free kick.

Ronaldo Puldon pushed the lead to 4-2 a minute later. From there, Glasgow played stingy defense to seal the win.

Jared Malagon opened the scoring with 34:31 showing in the first half with a goal assisted by Puldon. That duo combined for another goal a minute later to set the Scotties with a 2-0 lead.

Warren East answered with 7:32 left in the first half. The Raiders’ tying goal came on a penalty kick as the first-half ended.

The win improved Glasgow’s record to 9-8-3 while East fell to 6-3.
