The Barren County job fair has been canceled, according to the South Central Workforce Development Board.
The face-to-face job fair was originally scheduled for Sept. 23 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the HERO center, which is on Cheatham Street off what becomes Roseville Road. Due to “limited employer availability” the Barren County employment opportunity has been canceled, a social media post from the development board stated.
“[W]e’ve chosen to pause this event and focus on rescheduling a fair that offers the strongest possible lineup of hiring opportunities,” the board stated.
