Barren finishes fourth at conference tournament

Barren County boys’ golf closed its regular season Monday in the Kentucky South Central Conference tournament at Dale Hollow Golf Course.

The Trojans finished fourth with a team score of 165. Cumberland County captured the team title with a 147, one stroke ahead of Russell County. Adair County finished third with a 159.

Noah McMillan won the individual title with a 33, while Carson Coomer was second with a 34, and Khalin Walden finished with a 35.

Cameron Pippen led Barren with a 37 through nine holes, while J.P. Ross shot 38, Jay Houchens fired 44, Kade Hardy shot 46, and Cam Combs finished with a 49.

Monroe County was fifth with a 167, Green County shot 169, Metcalfe County posted a 174, and Warren East finished with a 189.
