Griffin Jackson closed out the regular season by winning the 15th District match at Park Mammoth Golf Club on Thursday.
The Glasgow freshman shot 35 through nine holes, and edged Allen County-Scottsville’s Barton Rutledge by two strokes to be medalist. The Patriots beat the Scotties by one stroke (159-160) for the team title, while Barren County as third with a team score of 173 and Warren East shot 176 to finish fourth.
Also for Glasgow, Tate Pace fired 40, Tucker Garrett posted a 42, Carter Hodges shot 43 and Jackson Norris finished with 44.
For the Trojans, J.P. Ross led with a 38, which was good for third as an individual, while Cam Pippen and Jay Houchens each shot 41, Cam Combs posted a 53 and Kade Hardy finished with a 62.
