The Barren County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a car crash that occurred overnight Saturday on Renfro Road in southern Barren County.
A vehicle believed to be a red or silver Pontiac passenger car crashed through a fence and struck a cow, killing it. The vehicle returned to the roadway and left. Parts left at the scene of the crash appeared to match the type and color of the car suspected in the crash.
The owner of the property is offering a $500 reward for any information leading to the arrest and prosecution of those responsible for the damage.
