Employees with Farmers Rural Electric Cooperative Corporation gathered at the Bluegrass Airport to welcome back the 65 Kentucky veterans taken on this year’s Honor Flight.
The Honor Flight allows Kentucky veterans a full day of touring Washington DC, offering them the chance to see monuments on the National Mall. Farmers RECC sponsored veterans Rodney Bell and James Moss, both of whom served in the U.S. Army.
Toby Moss, chief executive officer of Farmers RECC and a veteran, previously said the event is a heartwarming and joyful experience.
