Two sides of Glasgow’s public square will be closed to traffic Saturday afternoon.
Glasgow police announced that the south — the side opposite the Barren County Courthouse steps — and the east sides of the square will close at 4 p.m. until 8 p.m.
This closure is due to the Jeep Drive-In event that will begin an hour after the closure, at 5 p.m.
“Get ready for a night of Jeeps, ducks, great music and more…on the south side of the Glasgow square!” the event flier states. “Whether you’re showing off your ride or just coming to enjoy the fun, it’s going to be a quackin’ good time.”
The event will end at 8 p.m. and will include live music by Nick England, giveaways and “top gear from Viking Off-Road.”
