Barren County picked up its first boys’ soccer win of the season Tuesday in Campbellsville.
The Trojans downed the Eagles, 4-1, behind two goals and an assist from Logan Gerber. Jakeb Walden and Damian De Paz each also added a goal.
The win improves Barren’s record to 1-1-1. They opened last week with a tie at Hart County, then lost to Muhlenberg County on Saturday, 2-1.
Trae Muse and Jessie Morgan combined in goal for eight saves.
The Trojans return to action Saturday at home against Nelson County at 9 a.m.
