Ronnie Goodman, 71, of Bowling Green, Kentucky died Tuesday, August 12, 2025 surrounded by family. He was born on October 29, 1953, in Glasgow, Kentucky to the late Paul and Ruby Profitt Goodman.
Ronnie had a deep love for the outdoors and a passion for working with animals. He spent many years training and riding horses and some of his happiest memories were made on camping trips with family and friends. He also enjoyed attending car shows where he could appreciate classic vehicles and connect with fellow enthusiasts. Ronnie will be remembered for his kindness, sense of humor, and unwavering love for his family. His legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
Ronnie is survived by his devoted wife, Sherry Moore Goodman; his children, Kasey Goodman Murphy and husband Johnathan; step-sons, David Lindsey and wife April and Jason Duckett and wife Krista; sister-in-law, Beverly Goodman; brother-in-law, Danny Moore and wife Christy; grandchildren, Breanna Watt, Griffin and Karly Murphy, Gavin Matthews, Katie Lindsey, Jonah and Elijah Massey, and Brantley Duckett and great – granddaughter, Elizabeth Watt.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Charles Goodman and Donald Goodman and sisters, Geraldine Robinson and Carolyn Morgan.
Funeral services for Ronnie Goodman will be at 11AM Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at the J.C. Kirby & Son Broadway Chapel with burial in Bowling Green Gardens. Visitation from 3 until 7PM Monday and from 9AM until service time Tuesday at the funeral home.
