Tax rates are on the agenda for tonight’s Barren County Schools Board of Education meeting that begins at 5:30 p.m. at the district’s central office.
The board will recognize Barren County High School’s Stephanie Esters as the Certified Employee of the Month and Matt McClellan as Classified Employee of the Month. High school student Karden Kinslow will also be honored as the Student of the Month.
Other items on the agenda include board approval of various construction projects and change orders, and the first reading of a board policy regarding search and seizure.
Glasgow News 1 will have a story about the meeting published on Friday with reports also on WCLU Radio’s local newscasts on 103.1 FM on Friday with Todd Steenbergen at 6 a.m., 7 a.m. and 8 a.m.; Will Perkins at noon and Jake Norris at 5 p.m.
