Barren County and Glasgow girls’ golf teams tackled the front nine holes at Willow Oaks Golf Club on Tuesday. The match between the two teams that share the course gave many younger golfers on each squad a chance to compete.
Chloe Witcher led all golfers with a 39, while Harlow Bale for Glasgow, and Karden Kinslow, Alli Spillman and Briley King of Barren all shot 45. Rayleigh Tarry for the Trojanettes fired 46, and Reese Chaney shot 47 for Glasgow.
Also for the Trojanettes, Brenley Buchanon fired 53, McKenzie Broady, 54, Lily Calhoun, 58, Erin Bilbrey, 61, Bella Pursley, 64, June Simpson and Kailynn Peterson, 65, and Riley Decker, 66.
Also for the Lady Scotties, Lucy Cate Stallons shot 59, Aria Harper and Gemma Laurie each fired 64, Gracie Bale, 65, Jenna Grace Pedigo, 66, and Abrielle Zurek finished with 67.
Barren County returns to action Saturday at Pulaski County.
