Glasgow police are searching for the vehicle that hit a utility pole at the intersection of South Broadway and East Main streets.
On Aug. 7, a utility pole broke when it was hit by a vehicle that drove off, according to Glasgow Police Department Public Information Officer Terry Flatt. The damaged pole, which had to be replaced by the Glasgow Electric Plant Board, caused at least eight outages — including an outage to Glasgow’s city hall, which closed for the day because of that.
The intersection is opened, but the police department is now asking the public for information on the truck and trailer they say caused the breakage. People with information regarding this truck pulling a trailer are asked to call the Glasgow Police Department at 270-651-6165 or 270-651-5151 and speak with Officer Micah Janes.
