Chloe Witcher bounced back from a narrow miss Monday to win Tuesday at Campbellsville Country Club. Witcher shot 75 to capture medalist in the Cardinal Classic, which had a field of 66 golfers.
Witcher led the Lady Spartan Invitational on Monday at Park Mammoth Golf Club until the 18th hole. She finished tied for third in that event.
Barren County finished third as a team. After Witcher, Lucy Zalla shot 90, while Karden Kinslow fired 98, Allie Spillman posted 99 and Rayleigh Tarry finished with 102.
The Trojanettes’ “B” team was led by Briley King with a 119, while Lily Calhoun fired 129, Kailynn Petterson shot 131, Riley Decker posted 144, and McKenzie Broady finished with a 148.
Barren returns to action Thursday in the Glasgow Lady Scottie Invitational at Willow Oaks Golf Club. Glasgow’s girls’ golfers will also compete in the tournament.
