A man arrested last year in Glasgow has been federally indicted for possession of a gun by a convicted felon.
Tyshawn Lorm was arrested by Glasgow police in December 2024 after a brief foot pursuit on North Green Street. According to court documents, Lorm was indicted by a Barren County grand jury in three separate cases, each with their own charges — fleeing or evading police on foot and first-degree strangulation, reckless driving and first-degree wanton endangerment.
Lorm had active warrants in Barren County and Fulton County, Georgia, when he was arrested in Glasgow.
In addition to his Barren County cases, he also has a federal indictment that charges him with possession of a Glock by a convicted felon, since he was convicted in Atlanta Circuit Court of entering an automobile and two counts theft by receiving stolen property in October 2019.
The federal indictment specifies he will forfeit “all firearms and ammunition…including, but not limited to, a Glock.”
In front of Magistrate Judge Brent Brennenstahl, Lorm’s counsel entered him into a not guilty plea. Further proceedings are scheduled for Aug. 6 with Chief Judge Greg Stivers.
