Several students from Glasgow and Barren County were recently recognized by Eastern Kentucky University for being named to its Spring 2025 Dean’s List, Dean’s Award and President’s Award.
The following local students were named to the Dean’s List: Monica Casian-Sevilla, Jameson Corbin, Kara Cross, Masin Frazier, Ross Jessie, Marlene Malone, Mattie Mansfield, Alanis Matthews and Cari Vaught.
Dean’s Award: Ross Jessie, Alanis Matthews, Cari Vaught and Trace Williams.
President’s Award: Kara Cross, Masin Frazier, Marlene Malone and Cari Vaught.
“We’re incredibly proud to recognize and celebrate academic excellence at Eastern Kentucky University,” said university President David McFaddin. “Students who have achieved this distinction reflect our mission of opportunity and success, further validating EKU’s recent recognition as an Opportunity University by the Carnegie Foundation and showcasing the transformative potential of an Eastern education.”
