Samson Community Hospital for her injuries and later taken to the University of Louisville Hospital, and setting fire to the bedroom. On May 29, his case was forwarded to a grand jury.
In addition to the first-degree assault – domestic violence, the Barren County grand jury indicted Reece on charges of first-degree arson, two counts of first-degree wanton endangerment and torture of a cat or dog since a cat died due to apparent smoke inhalation, Glasgow Police Officer Jarrett Graber said at his May 29 preliminary hearing.
Reece’s arraignment is set for July 28 at 10 a.m. and his bond is $250,000, according to the jail website.
