A county road underwent a name change during the July 15 Barren County Fiscal Court meeting.
Old Kentucky Hwy 821 Cutoff Road, which is east of Cave City and connects Hiseville-Bear Wallow Road with Hiseville-Park Road, received unanimous approval from all seven county magistrates to be renamed as Jodieville Road.
Magistrate Tim Coomer, whose district the road is in, said all of the landowners in the area agreed to the name change.
