A Glasgow man has been arrested on multiple child sex abuse charges.
On July 9, Kyle Ankney, 32, was arrested at the Barren County Courthouse by Barren County sheriff deputies and charged with first-degree rape, first-degree sodomy and incest of a minor under 12-years old, who was interviewed by the Barren River Area Child Advocacy Center on June 27.
On the day before, the minor told Barren County deputies that Ankney had sexually abused her for approximately five months “at or near” a residence on Winn School Road, according to his uniform citation.
Ankney confirmed the minor’s story to Barren County sheriff deputies in Allen County on July 2 but did not admit to “sexual contact” until July 9 at the Barren County Courthouse and later the sheriff’s office, his uniform citation states.
Ankney has no bond currently, according to the Barren County jail website.
