A Glasgow man has entered into a not-guilty plea in federal court on multiple child sexual abuse charges.

In an indictment filed in U.S. District Court’s Western District of Kentucky on June 11, 27-year-old Nathan Woodcock was charged with two counts of receipt of child pornography, one count of possession of child pornography and thus required to forfeit three iPhones, two laptops and a tablet.

The federal indictment was initially sealed pending his arrest but on July 3 it was unsealed by a court order.

At his federal court appearance on July 7, Woodcock, through his attorney, entered into a not-guilty plea and further proceedings were scheduled for July 29 at 2:05 p.m. before Chief Judge Greg Stivers with a detention hearing scheduled for July 10 at 1 p.m.

As previously reported, Woodcock was arrested in Barren County by Glasgow police on Wednesday, April 23, and charged with two counts of possession of materials “portray[ing] sexual performance by minor under 12 years of age,” after they executed a search warrant of a Drane Avenue residence and found “multiple images and videos involving child sexual abuse material,” according to a department press release at the time and Woodcock’s Barren County uniform citation.
