After allegedly becoming “combative” with Glasgow police officers responding to a welfare complaint, 31-year-old Susan Rippy was arrested on numerous charges.
On Monday, June 30, Glasgow police officers went to Cedar Street in reference to a welfare complaint and found Rippy “involved in an altercation with another female at the residence,” according to a police department press release.
“Officers determined that Rippy was under the influence of alcohol and became combative with officers before being taken into custody,” the press release states.
There were several children inside the home, according to the press release.
Rippy is charged with third-degree assault of a police officer, endangering the welfare of minors, second-degree disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
Her bond is set at $3,000 cash with a court date of July 3 at 12:30 p.m.
