Mr. Earnest “Motown” Allen, 62, of Glasgow, died Saturday, June 14, 2025 at Norton’s Hospital.
He was preceded in death by his parents Hue Reed Allen and Doris Louella Johnson Allen; and brothers Donald Allen and Jeffery Allen.
He is survived by his wife Annie Allen; daughter Jakayla Smith; step children, William Boards and Wynter Austin; granddaughter Kyler Smith; five brothers, Charles Allen, Jimmy Allen (Janice), Billy Allen (Judy), Linwood Allen (Denise) and John Terry Allen; five sisters, Laura Smith (Larry), Shelby Howard, Mary Montgomery, Wanda Wilson, America Allen (Jeff) and Teresa Allen; brother in law Owen Boards; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The funeral will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, June 21, 2025 at First Baptist Church Glasgow with Dr. Micheal Rice officiating. Burial will follow in the Caney Fork Cemetery in Scottsville, Ky.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. until time of the service Saturday, June 21, 2025 at First Baptist Church Glasgow. Hayes Brothers Funeral Home Glasgow is in charge of all arrangements.
