Next week’s commuters may be subject to delays and possible detours due to the replacement of a portion of a sidewalk in Glasgow.
The City of Glasgow has plans to demolish and replace 275 feet of sidewalk on East Main Street — Ky. 90 — in the city, according to information released by the Glasgow Police Department. The demolition and replacement will begin on June 16 and end on June 25, which is a week-and-a-half.
During that time, the department states, there will be a temporary traffic signal that’ll “take traffic down to one lane between Carnation Drive and May Street during daylight hours, rotating between east and west bound.” Humble and Bowen avenues, and the Gorin Park entrance will be closed to E. Main Street.
