Two people were transported to hospital after a two-vehicle collision Monday, June 9, in Glasgow.

A 2001 GMC Sierra truck driven by Ivan Miller collided with a 2015 Kia Sportage driven by Taylor Davis at the intersection of W. Main Street and S.L. Rogers Wells Blvd. Monday afternoon, according to a press release from Glasgow police.

Miller was driving southbound on Rogers Wells and attempted to stop, however, “his vehicle started to slide due to the wet roads,” which caused it to collide with the Kia driven by Davis, according to the press release.

“Both Davis and a passenger were transported by Barren/Metcalfe EMS for their injuries,” the press released stated.

The collision was investigated by Glasgow police officer Josh Proctor.
