A man was arrested after entering a home on Lexington Drive with a gun.

Clayton Button, 34, was arrested by Glasgow police after he was found tied up and “laying at the entry way of the residence,” a Glasgow police press release states.

“Button had gone to the residence where he had a verbal altercation that turned physical with the resident before being assaulted and tied up,” the press release states. “It was determined that Button was a convicted felon.”

He was arrested and charged with possession of a handgun by a convicted felon. His initial court appearance is today, June 9, at 12:30 p.m., according to the jail website.

Glasgow Police Department Public Information Officer Terry Flatt said no injuries were reported other than those to Button.
