Like the unique river in Willy Wonka’s fictitious factory, chocolate will be flowing freely through Glasgow local businesses this weekend.
The 4th annual Chocolate Crawl, presented by the Glasgow Small Retail and Boutique Association, will be Friday and Saturday at 12 locations, with free chocolate treats at every stop.
“You are able to go to different boutiques and stores around Glasgow and shop some sales and sample their chocolate,” said Jess Gilbert of Boutique Unique. “All the chocolate is free.”
Gilbert said when participants visit their first location of the event, they will receive a card which lists all the participating businesses — their hours and addresses — and also serves as a ballot to vote for your favorite chocolate.
“It’s a fun little competition between the stores,” Gilbert said. “And it’s a great way to give back to our community and let them know that we support them.
“Shop a sale and eat some chocolate.”
The two-day event features the following local businesses (each with varying hours; see graphic below for times and addresses): 221A Market on Green; All About Me Boutique; All in Bloom Florist; Awards Inc.; Boutique Unique; Calligraphy Creations in Kentucky; Fire Line Outdoors; House of Vintage; Simply Made Designs; Talk of the Town Marketplace; The Empty Nest; and Vintique.

The 2025 Chocolate Crawl, presented by the Glasgow Small Retail and Boutique Association, will take place this Friday and Saturday at 12 locations, with free chocolate treats at every stop.
