Thomas Royal (Tommy) Wells

Thomas Royal (Tommy) Wells, 78, of Glasgow, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, May 24, 2025, at the Shanti Niketan Hospice Home. He was born June 20, 1946, to Glatys R. and June Morrison Wells. He was preceded in death by his mother and father.

Tommy graduated from Temple Hill High School and Western Kentucky University with a sociology/psychology degree. He was a retired Hearing Officer for the State of Kentucky, Cabinet for Health and Family Services, and later worked for South Central Bank. He enjoyed landscaping and was an excellent “fix-it man”.

He is survived by his wife of almost 57 years, Linda Young Wells; children, Dru Dulaney (J.D.) of Virginia Beach, Virginia, and Lauren Cottrell (Tommy) of Glasgow, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Allie, Wells and Aubree Dulaney and Quay Cottrell. He is also survived by a sister, Connie Bell (Jerome) of Clarksville, Tennessee; sisters-in-law, Rita Gray (Joe), Connie McGregor (Eddie) and Donnie Marion (Larry) and several nieces, nephews and cousins, as well as a host of special friends.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 31, 2025, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home. Visitation will begin on Friday, May 30, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and after 9:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Shanti Niketan Hospice Home,1020 Glenview Drive, Glasgow, Kentucky.
