Two Barren County High School students were awarded the Arthur Cotton Memorial Scholarship, which is worth $1,500 each.
Each year, Lockshield Partners awards two scholarships to students at the Barren County Area Technology Center in honor of Glasgow’s Operation Manager Jodi Walden’s late father.
The recipients this year are Skyler Milstead and Madeline Prichard.
Skyler Milstead is the son of Crystal Shepherd and Brett Milstead. This fall he will attend Western Kentucky University to earn his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
“Achieving a degree and career in Business Admin has been a goal of mine for a very long time and I am so excited to see what God has planned for my future!” Skylar said.
Madeline Prichard is the daughter of Jeremy and Stephanie Prichard. She will attend Freed-Hardeman University in Henderson, Tenn. and will pursue her bachelor’s degree in Communication Science Disorders before obtaining a master’s degree in Speech and Language Pathology.
