The Glasgow Independent Schools Board of Education members are expected to discuss the 2025-2026 district budget and school resource officers, as well as evaluate the superintendent during their May 12 board meeting.

The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the CO2 Board Room, which was the library of the old South Green Elementary School.

As this academic year comes to a close — Glasgow High School’s graduation is scheduled for 7 p.m. on May 23, which is also the last day for all students — the agenda is largely filled with items that need board approval in preparation for the next year. Such is the case with the memorandum of understanding with the Glasgow Police Department for school resource officers.

An 2019 example of a memorandum of understanding can be viewed here.

Board members are also expected to go into closed session to discuss district Superintendent Chad Muhlenkamp performance. They will then return to opened session and present the evaluation.

There are seven standards against which a district superintendent can be evaluated — they are strategic, instructional, cultural, human resource, managerial, collaborative and influential leadership.
