A Glasgow man was taken to multiple hospitals for his injuries after his vehicle crashed on Woodlawn Street.

On Saturday, April 26, Glasgow police responded to 1020 Woodlawn Street in reference to a single-vehicle crash.

A 1997 Ford Ranger driven by Eric Turner was traveling up the hill, away from Glasgow, when his vehicle “traveled across the oncoming lane, off the left shoulder of the roadway, striking a mailbox and parked vehicle before coming to rest on its side,” according to a police department press release.

Turner was taken by Barren-Metcalfe EMS to T.J. Samson Community Hospital and then transferred to Vanderbilt Hospital for his injuries.

The crash was investigated by Glasgow police officer John Wallen, assisted by the Barren/Metcalfe EMS and the Glasgow Fire Department.
