Glasgow ran away from the competition at the Butler County All Comers track meet. The Scotties won the boys’ team title, while the Lady Scotties claimed the girls’ team title.
Glasgow won 12 of 33 events combined between boys and girls. In the boys’ meet, Kellon Stone won the long jump with a personal-best 20-feet, 3-inches. Ian Parocai won the boys’ 1,600 meter run in four minutes, 37 seconds. The Scotties also won the 4×100 relay and the 4×200 relay.
Cynthia Austin led the Lady Scotties with wins in the 200 meter dash (27.97 seconds) and the triple jump (32-feet, 11.75-inches). Caralee Gentry won the girls’ 100 meter hurdles in 18.14 seconds, and the 300 hurdles in 55.65 seconds. Aaliyah Haskins won the discus with a toss of 90-feet, 3-inches, and Paeton Taylor won the girls’ shot put with a chuck of 31-feet, 2-inches.
The Glasgow girls also won the 4×800 relay and the 4×200 relay.
