Recognitions, bids and change orders make up most of Tuesday’s Barren County Schools Board of Education agenda.
The five board members will meet tonight for a special-called meeting at 5:30 p.m. in the district’s central office. The agenda features numerous recognitions including the student of the month, classified and certified employee of the month, Barren County High School student Dylan Black, who recently signed with Kentucky Christian University for archery, and the district’s teachers of the year.
Sixteen bid renewals and agreements are on the agenda, including bids for hay cutting and nutrition services uniforms to a literacy grant contract and a sports medicine bid renewal.
Also, there are 17 change orders, which are primarily for work renovating the kitchen area at Barren County High School.
