A Glasgow man was arrested on multiple drug charges after police investigated a disturbance complaint.

On Friday, April 18, Glasgow police officers responded to a disturbance complaint at Bowan Avenue, which is off East Main Street near Bully’s on Main, where they saw 40-year-old Joseph Vibbert “walking through the yard,” a Glasgow Police Department press release states.

“A search of Vibbert revealed a baggie of methamphetamine, scales and drug paraphernalia,” the release stated.

He was arrested and charged with public intoxication on a controlled substance, first-degree trafficking in controlled substances – first offense, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. Vibbert also has a failure to appear and a probation violation for a felony offense, according to the Barren County Detention Center.

The arrest was made by Officer Patrick Wade.
