Ridlehoover indicted on wanton endangerment, fleeing charges

Joseph Ridlehoover was indicted by a Barren County grand jury on one count of fleeing or evading police and two counts of first-degree wanton endangerment of a police officer.

Ridlehoover, 38, was arrested by the Cave City Police Department an lodged in the Barren County Detention Center on March 1 after leading police officers into Hart County where he was caught once he began fleeing on foot.

At the time, he was charged with speeding 17 mph over the limit, no registration receipt, no registration plate, failure to produce insurance card, operating on a suspended or revoked license, failure to wear seat belt, improper signaling, disregarding stop signs, first-degree wanton endangerment of a police officer, reckless driving, failure to give oncoming vehicle half the highway, fleeing or evading police, and fugitive due to the fact that Ridlehoover had an out-of-state warrant for burglary “with full extradition.”

He has a $5,000 cash bond and his next court appearance is April 14 at 10 a.m.
