Apr 1, 2025 | 2:00 PM

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Linda Carol Brian. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who left us peacefully on March 30, 2025 at the age of 75. Linda was born on June 25, 1949 in Louisville, KY to the late Charles and Dorothy Allen.

Linda was the devoted wife of William Brian for 57 wonderful years. Together, they built a life full of love, laughter, and cherished memories. Their union was a testament to commitment and unwavering support for one another.

She was preceded in death by her first born, William Edmund Brian, Jr. and her grandson, Benjamin Allen Brian.

Linda is survived by her husband, William Brian; children, Dr. Charles Brian (Emily) of Evansville, IN, Michael Robert Brian (Kim) of Columbia, KY, Dorothy Angelina Davenport (Brian) of Bowling Green, KY, John Benjamin Brian (Maggie) of Columbia, SC and Amie Lee Price (Braxton) of Bowling Green, KY; sister Cheri Gayle Kurlas (Ken) of Louisville, KY; sixteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

As a mother to six children, Linda was the pillar of strength and love. She instilled in each of them the values of kindness, perseverance, and the importance of family. Her unwavering support, gentle guidance, and unconditional love shaped them into the individuals they are today.

Linda was also a proud grandmother to all of her grandchildren, whose lives were blessed by her warm hugs, encouraging words, and timeless wisdom. Her role as a grandmother was one she cherished deeply, always going above and beyond to make each grandchild feel special and loved. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to live on through her children, grandchildren, and all who were touched by her life.

She touched the lives of everyone she met with her kindness, compassion, and selflessness. She had a gift for making people feel loved, valued, and cared for, and her presence will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known her.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to cancer research and the Sarah Cannon Research Institute. We take comfort in knowing that her love will always remain with us. She is resting in peace with her savior.
