Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College has been recognized as one of the 100 “Best Places to Work in Kentucky.”
According to the college, the selection process for the recognition was based on an in-depth assessment of a company’s employee policies and procedures, and an internal employee survey.
“We work diligently to find the right employees who understand and exemplify the vision and mission of SKYCTC,” said Human Resource Manager Donia Massey. “I am incredibly proud of our employees and how they embody the culture of caring we strive to achieve at SKYCTC.”
The 21st Annual Best Places to Work in Kentucky Awards Dinner will celebrate the 100 winners on Thursday, May 22, 2025 in Lexington where the final rankings will be revealed.
This marks the eleventh year SKYCTC has received this prestigious honor.
“It is indeed an honor for every member of the SKYCTC family to receive this recognition,” said Dr. Brooke Justice, the college’s interim president. “Our College is built around core values of caring for others and excellence in education. Everything we do is in service to our students, communities, and our fellow employees. I am proud of what our team has accomplished and the organization we have become.”
The Best Places to Work winners are categorized into small, medium, and large businesses, as outlined by the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce. Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College is listed among the 25 other “medium” businesses.
