Elfreda Lewis, age 94, of Glasgow, Kentucky, passed away, Monday, February 24, 2025, at Barren County Health and Rehab surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Glasgow, Kentucky, on November 12, 1930, to the late Thomas Chenoweth and the late Bessie Miller Chenoweth. Elfreda loved spending her days in her flower beds and spending time with her family and friends. She was a faithful member of the Glasgow Baptist Church.
She is survived by her two special nieces and caregivers, Teresa Scott (Jeff) and Anne “Micky” Froggett, and several other nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eldon Lewis; son, Michael David Lewis; and brothers, Selby Chenoweth and Roger Chenoweth.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Glasgow Baptist Church, St. Jude Children Hospital, or BRAWA in remembrance Ms. Lewis.
A graveside service for Mrs. Lewis will be 1 p.m., Friday, February 28th, 2025, at Glasgow Municipal Cemetery.
