Farmers Rural Electric Cooperative and South Central Rural Telecommunications Cooperative are excited to announce their partnership for the first Coffee with the Co-ops event.
This community engagement initiative invites cooperative members to meet with the leaders of both organizations once per quarter throughout their service areas.
The first installment of Coffee with the Co-ops will take place on March 25 from 7-9 a.m. at The Hive Coffee and Bakehouse in Glasgow. During this event, members will have the chance to ask questions, share concerns and offer valuable feedback about the services provided by both co-ops.
This partnership brings together the two cooperatives, both dedicated to serving local communities, to create an opportunity for members to engage directly with their leaders in a casual, welcoming setting.
“We believe that open communication is essential to providing the best service to our members,” said Toby Moss, President/CEO of Farmers RECC. “Coffee with the Co-ops is a unique opportunity for us to engage with our members and gather feedback about our cooperatives.”
South Central Rural Telecommunications General Manager and Chief Operations Officer Jeff Eaton added, “As a cooperative, we exist to serve our members, and we’re always looking to improve our services. This event will allow us to engage with our community in a meaningful way and collect valuable input that will shape our operations in the future.”
Co-op members are encouraged to bring any questions or feedback they have regarding the services provided by both co-ops. The event is free and open to all members of the respective cooperatives.
