Glasgow Independent School are closed Jan. 6 due to weather.
In a text message to parents, they announced they will make up the snow day on Feb. 18.

Barren County Schools will have a traditional snow day on Jan. 6, according to district communications personnel Heather Gardner.
“Due to the winter storm warning and hazardous travel conditions, all Barren County schools will be closed tomorrow, Monday, January 6,” Gardner stated in the email. “The forecast calls for ice accumulation on power lines, which may lead to widespread power outages, so this will be a traditional snow day, NOT a Non-Traditional Instruction day.”
Caverna Independent Schools announces a Non-Traditional Instruction day for Jan. 6 citing the weather as well.
Classes for the district’s school were scheduled to resume for the winter-break hiatus on Jan. 6.
