A rough first half doomed the Glasgow Scotties in their 70-38 loss at Bowling Green on Friday.
The undefeated Purples outscored the Scotties 25-6 in the first quarter and 25-14 in the second to lead 50-20 at halftime. Glasgow slowed down Bowling Green’s offense in the second half, and was outscored 15-14 in the third and 5-4 in the fourth to set the final score.
The Scotties, who fell to 0-3, were led by JoJo Driver with 11 points.
Luke Idlett led the Purples with 17 points, while Joseph Hurt added 14.
