TJ mission foundation celebrates new office location, nonprofit’s growth

Dr. Mody’s Corner — the name given to the building on North Race Street next to the parking structure — has a new tenet.

Filled to the brink of overflowing, community members gathered to celebrate the official unveiling of T.J. Community Mission Foundation’s new office space.

The foundation’s Executive Director Randy Burns expressed his appreciation for the community and their continual support in their endeavors, which includes Community Medical Care, Breaking Barriers to Care, and Children’s Day.

He also teased several incoming announcements set to be announced in the coming months.

During the brief ceremony, which featured treats prepared by the T.J. staff, philanthropist Bharat Mody and foundation chairman Doug Landers echoed Burns’ comments before going outside for the ribbon-cutting.
