An Atlanta man was arrested in Park City on Wednesday after he ran from a Barren County Sheriff’s deputy.
Khalil Rashaad Miller, 28, of Atlanta, Georgia, was arrested after a short foot pursuit, according to a press release from the sheriff’s office. Deputy Terrill Riley responded to a call of a “domestic altercation” in the parking lot of the Shell Mart in Park City on Wednesday afternoon. Miller fled the scene on foot when the deputy pulled into the parking lot.
Miller had an active warrant for his arrest out of Georgia with confirmed extradition. He was also charged locally with fleeing and evading on foot, according to the press release. Riley made the arrest and was assisted at the scene by Kentucky State Police, U.S. Park Rangers and Cave City police.
