A portion of Roseville Road is closed as emergency personnel work to “flip” a semi truck and trailer.
At approximately 6 a.m. on Nov. 12 Barren County Sheriff personnel responded to a non-injury wreck involving an overturned semi truck on Roseville Road near the Monroe-Barren county line and that travelers should expect delays “for the next several hours” if going through the area.
Mike Houchens, public information officer with the Barren County Sheriff’s Office, said wreckers were on site attempting to right the overturned truck and that, until that happens, both lanes were closed. He also said the truck was “hauling chicken feed” so at least one lane would likely be closed “a majority of the day” while they get that cleaned up.
Specifically Houchens said the wreck was near the intersection of Tracy Road and Flippin Lamb Road. There were no other vehicles involved in the wreck.
