Mikka Kostas age 24 of Cub Run passed away Saturday, November 9th from injuries sustained in an automobile accident on hwy. 728 near Bonnieville. Mikka was a surgical technician employed by Network for Hope(KODA). She was a member of the eye bank retrieval team. Mikka had such a caring heart and will be remembered as helping others as she was a registered organ donor.
She is survived by her husband Andrew Burkholder, her parents, Valdimir & Tammy Ford Kostas, a brother Joshua Shelton, a sister Chelsea Cobb and her paternal grandparents Ilya & Rodica Costas.
The funeral for Mikka Kostas will be held at 1pm Friday, November 15th in the chapel of Sego Funeral Home. Visitation will be Thursday from 1-8pm and after 8am Friday at the Sego Funeral Home. Cremation will follow the service.
