UPDATED: Two flown to hospital after crash at Exit 11 and 31-E

The Glasgow Police Department has released additional information regarding the injury crash that occurred on Oct. 27.

According to a press release from the department, Angela Brock and Brayden Ship collided on Scottsville Road, otherwise known as 31-E. Brock was flown to Tristar Skyline Medical Center in  Nashville for serious injuries. Passenger, Angeli Levi, was transported to T.J. Samson Hospital and was later flown to Vanderbilt Hospital for further treatment.

Ship was not injured from the collision.

The intersection of U.S. Route 31-E and exit 11 of the Cumberland Parkway that was closed on Oct. 27 due to the wreck has since been reopened.

This wreck remains under investigation by the Glasgow Police Reconstruction Unit.

The intersection of U.S. Route 31-E and Exit 11 of the Cumberland Parkway is currently closed due to a crash.

Much is still unclear at the time of publication, however Glasgow Police Department Public Information Officer Terry Flatt confirmed it was a crash with injuries. At least one person was flown from the scene by helicopter.

Flatt estimates the road will be closed for 1-2 hours.
