Elsie Loretta Breakfield, age 80, passed away on October 20, 2024. Loretta was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on October 2, 1944, to the late Aron and Theresa Britt Belcher.
Loretta worked for Western Kentucky University Health Services as Registered Nurse and was a devoted member of Greenwood Baptist Church and truly loved her Lord. She found joy in spending time outside in nature tending to her flowers and spoiling her grandchildren and family.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Jasper Breakfield, and their two daughters Tracy Breakfield of Bowling Green, and Shelly Francis and her husband Chris, of Bowling Green. Two grandsons; Canaan Francis and Dylan Francis also survive.
Visitation will be from 4 until 7 p.m. Tuesday, October 22, and from 9 until 11 a.m. Wednesday. Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. at the J.C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel. Burial will follow in Bowling Green Gardens.
