Terry Lynn Gentry, 60, of Bowling Green passed away October 12, 2024.
The Bowling Green native was born August 31, 1964 to the late Charles Gentry and Linda Wemes who survives. She is also preceded in death by her brother, Dennis Lee ‘Deno’ Gentry; nephew, Kenneth Wayne Gentry, Jr.; and step-father, Claude Roddy, Jr. Terry attended Iva Baptist Church where Pastor Terry Joe Wilson was her mentor and friend. She loved crafting, animals, and her family.
In addition to her mother, she is also survived by her daughters, Ashley Cross (Jarell Lewis) and Samantha Johnson (John) both of Bowling Green; grandchildren, Aubrie Cross, Austin Cross, Devin Lewis, Eva White, Kaylee Johnson, and Karson ‘Bear’ Johnson; siblings, Kenneth W. Gentry, Sr.; and nephew, Charles Edward Gentry; uncle, Lee B. Wilson; and furry friend, Smoky the cat.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the J.C. Kirby & Son Broadway Chapel with visitation from 3 until 7 p.m. Thursday and after 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Green River Union Cemetery.
