Jennifer Elaine Walters-Chappell

Jennifer Elaine Walters-Chappell, 50, passed away on October 2, 2024, in Bowling Green, KY. Born on March 24, 1974, in Huntington, West Virginia. Jennifer was known for her loving and honest nature, deeply cherished by her family and friends. In her final weeks, she found solace and strength in her faith in Jesus Christ, drawing closer to God’s spirit

Jennifer graduated from Adair County High School and later channeled her entrepreneurial spirit into the business world, becoming the owner of Twice As Nice Consignment and managing the Family Video in Scottsville, KY for many years. Her commitment to community and service was evident in all her endeavors. She was a devoted member of the Bowling Green Praise and Worship, where she spent many hours in fellowship and prayer, strengthening her faith in Jesus Christ, and connections within the community.

Jennifer leaves behind a large and loving family, including her devoted marriage to Raymond ‘Keith’ Chappell, her grandmother, Rilda Cline; parents, dad, Rick Walters (Alberta) and mother, Patricia Moore; aunt, Becky McCallister (Marvin); siblings, Arron Walters (Connie) and Jackee Walters; her children, Kayla Lane (Chase), Trista Bratcher (fiance Shawn), Jalaina Wheeler, Gena Chappell, Riley Chappell, and Casey Chappell; as well as nine granddaughters, four grandsons, and one great-granddaughter. She also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, and a host of extended family who will miss her dearly.

 

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, William K Cline; her daddy, Darrell Moore; and uncle, Bill Cline.

Jennifer’s life was a testament to her values of love, honesty, and faith in her Lord Jesus Christ. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of those she touched.

Visitation will be from 2:30 pm until 7 p.m. Sunday, October 6, and from 10 until 12:00 p.m. Monday at Bowling Green Praise & Worship (226 Old Lovers Lane, Bowling Green, KY). A celebration of life will be held at 12:00 p.m. at the church. Burial will follow in Bowling Green Gardens.
