David Earl Oliver, age 64, passed away Tuesday October 1, 2024 at his residence in Bowling Green, Ky.
The Bowling Green native was the son of the late Lennis Eudean Oliver and Charlotte Sue Woods Oliver, in addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Johnny Edwin Oliver.
David was a man who was deeply involved in his family, church, Bays Fork Baptist, and the outdoors. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and enjoyed harnessing up his favorite set of mules, Kit and Kat for a nice ride on his wagon. His family and friends will always remember him as a loving, caring, and outgoing person.
David is survived by his wife Mary Marler, his two daughters, Kim Anderson, and Jennifer Phalen (Ricky), two brothers, Danny Oliver (Laura), and Darrell Oliver (Tracy), grandchildren, Mattisen Anderson, Joseph Anderson Jr., and Jessica Gray, great grandchildren, Ellie Mae Young, and Oliver Royse, nieces and nephews, Natalie Wheeler (Greg), Taylor Thomas (Alex), Kristin Grey (Ben), Danielle Wheeler (Michael), Jonathan Oliver, Nathan Oliver (Rachel), and Tucker Oliver, several great nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will be Wednesday October 2, 2024 from 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM and Thursday October 3, 2024 from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM at the J. C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel. Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 AM followed by burial in the Bays Fork Baptist Church Cemetery.
