Doris Laverne Perry McGrew age 91 of Cave City passed away Wednesday, September 25th at Signature Health Care. She was the wife of the late Elmer McGrew and the daughter of the late Arvel & Callie Nunn Perry.
She was also preceded by a daughter Machelle Philpott.
She enjoyed collecting items and she owned souvenir shops around different places.
Doris is survived by a son Vince Robin Ballard; three daughters Lynn Briley, Debbie Ballard & Edwina Jaggers. 13 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren & 3 great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral for Doris McGrew will be 12noon Sunday, Sept. 29th in the chapel of Sego Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Neal officiating. Burial will follow in the Bowles Cemetery in Metcalfe County. Visitation will be Sunday after 10am at the Sego Funeral Home.
