Ina Lucille Richardson Lyle, 84, of Glasgow, Kentucky, passed away Monday, September 23, 2024, at the Shanti Niketan Hospice House in Glasgow, Kentucky from complications of Dementia. She was born July 18, 1940, in Marrowbone, Kentucky to the late Johnny Richardson and Melba Holford Richardson. Lucille was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who loved feeding her family their favorite dishes. She also enjoyed sewing and was an avid reader. Lucille also worked outside the home over the years at Sorensen, GTE, Vangard Labs, and Sue’s Shoes.
Survivors include her husband and the love of her life for 65 years, Buddy Lyle; daughters, Linda Proffitt (Dennis) of Glasgow and Laura Brack (BJ) of Nashville; grandchildren, Christy Johns (Chan) of Glasgow, Debbie Profgan (Brittany) of Smiths Grove, Alex Brack, and Jacob Brack both of Nashville; great grandchildren, Sage, Syler, and Solomon John’s.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Don Richardson.
Alternate expressions of sympathy can be made to the Shanti Niketan Hospice House in Glasgow, Kentucky.
The funeral service for Mrs. Lyle will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, September 28th at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, September 28th from 11:00 AM until time for the service at the funeral home.
